Glashütte was founded in 1845 by Ferdinand A. Lange and has since maintained its premise of quality and rigor in all the models it manufactures. It believes that the heart of a watch is its movement – all movements used in Glashütte watches are manufactured in-house – and the entire watch, from idea to construction, is made in the Glashütte factory.
